    Novice Researcher Educational Edition
    1. Goals and Scope of "Novice Researcher Educational Edition": JSciMed Central is launching its "Novice Researcher Educational Edition" for Journal of Surgery and Transplantation Science. This new initiative taken by the JSciMed Central aims to encourage research and innovation in early researchers, whether enrolled in a research higher degree or program, or a clinician commencing research activity. Journal of Surgery and Transplantation Science wishes to promote junior researchers by publishing their work in our peer-reviewed journal.
    2. Eligible authors:
      • Students enrolled in a higher research degree for at least a year (Eg. PhD, MD, MD-PhD, or Masters)
      • Surgery residents or qualified anesthesiologists beginning a career in research
      • Research fellows/ Research associates with three years of work experience in academic or industry laboratory settings
    3. Frequency of publication: Regular Issue Release.
    4. Type of articles accepted: All types of research articles and reports, including but not limited to, original research articles, reviews, case reports, case series, audits, observational studies and short reports.
    5. Review Process: The Editor-in-Chief of Novice Researcher Edition of Journal of Surgery and Transplantation Science Prof. David Story, Melbourne Medical School, Australia reviews and selects the submitted material for peer review. Authors may nominate peer reviewers for the Editor to consider. We promise you a sincere peer review process marked by quality and respect for the submitted material.
    6. Publication fee: Minimum handling charge is $99 per page.
    7. Involvement of supervisors/mentor: We encourage authors to have input from a supervisor/ mentor but author should state the percentage contribution of each author in the application, which would not be revealed in the publication.
