Online Self-Directed Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Anxiety in Pregnancy and Postpartum: Quantitative Findings of a Randomized Controlled Trial - Abstract
In Canada, approximately 368, 928 babies were born during 2024-25. The perinatal period, spanning pregnancy to 12 months following childbirth,
encompasses some of life’s most substantial changes and transitions (e.g., physiological, emotional, social, familial) and involves prominent medical,
psychological, sociocultural, and economic resources and impacts. Challenges experienced during the perinatal period can lead to a worsening of mental
health or development of a new onset of a mental health problem.
