JSciMedCentral does not charge any fees at the time of manuscript submission.

Upon successful submission, authors receive an automated acknowledgment confirming receipt of the manuscript. This acknowledgment serves as an official record of submission and signifies the commencement of the editorial evaluation process, ensuring transparency and accountability in line with best publishing practices.

Following acknowledgment, all manuscripts undergo initial administrative and quality checks, including plagiarism screening and formatting, before being submitted for peer review.

Manuscript Withdrawal

Authors may request withdrawal of their manuscript at various stages of the editorial and publication process. Withdrawal requests must be submitted in writing to the journal’s editorial office. The following withdrawal charges apply, reflecting the editorial and production resources utilized at each stage:

• Withdrawal before plagiarism screening:
  No withdrawal charges will be applied if the manuscript is withdrawn before plagiarism screening is initiated.
• Withdrawal after plagiarism screening and formatting (after 24 hours of submission):
  A withdrawal fee of USD 399 will be applicable.
• Withdrawal after completion of peer review and acceptance for publication:
  If the manuscript has completed peer review and is prepared for publication, a withdrawal charge of USD 599 will apply.
• Withdrawal after publication:
  Withdrawal or retraction of an article that has already been published will incur a charge equivalent to 70% of the applicable Article Processing Charge (APC).

Ethical and Policy Compliance

JSciMedCentral adheres to internationally recognized standards of publication ethics and best practices, including the principles outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Withdrawal and refund decisions are governed by transparency, fairness, and accountability, and are applied consistently across all submissions.

All withdrawal requests are subject to review by the editorial and accounts teams. Charges, once incurred, are non-refundable as they correspond to completed editorial, peer review, and production services.
