JSM Diabetology and Management is a multidisciplinary, peer reviewed, open access journal that encourages authors to explore varied clinical, pathophysiological, diagnostic, therapeutic, and management of diabetes mellitus.
Diabetes is a genetic or metabolic dysfunctional disorder that when the blood glucose levels rise beyond the allowed levels. Blood glucose is the primary source of energy and comes from the food we eat. Insulin is a hormone secreted from the pancreas that helps glucose to churn the food to release energy into the cell. Diabetology is a clinical science of diabetes mellitus that is primarily concerned with diagnosis, treatment and management of this chronic medical condition, a specialty, also known as endocrinology.
JSM Diabetology and Management considers original research on all aspects of clinical and medical advancements related to diabetes therapy and management in the form of research articles, review articles, case reports, Editorials, short communication, and letters to the editor.
