Journal of the Foot and Ankle is an open access medical periodical that publishes peer reviewed articles on the anatomy, physiology, functions, disorders, diagnosis, therapy, cure and management of the disorders that may affect the foot and the ankle.
While the foot is the part of the lower limb distal to the ankle joint, the ankle is the part of the lower limb encompassing the distal portion of the leg and proximal portions of the foot. The ankle encompasses the ankle joint that connects the tibia and fibula of the leg and the talus of the foot. The journal focuses on a wide range of topics that provide a comprehensive overview of the research in all aspects.
JSM Foot & Ankle is a multidisciplinary journal that encourages original research on reconstructive, trauma, and sports-related conditions utilizing the latest technological advances. The journal welcomes original research articles, review articles, case reports, and short communications, as well as short technical reports.
