JSM General Surgery: Cases and Images is a multidisciplinary clinical and medical research journal that provides a vast spectrum of topics that may be leading to invasive and non-invasive procedures for verity health conditions. 

General surgery is a surgical specialty that focuses on a wide variety of medical and surgical care, including abdomen,  esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, liver, pancreas, gallbladder, appendix, bile ducts, and thyroid gland  General surgery is applicable in ailments involving the skin, breast, soft tissue, trauma, Peripheral artery disease and hernias. Diagnostic activities like endoscopic procedures, gastroscopy and colonoscopy also fall under this category.

The journal welcomes original papers in all aspects related to general surgery as research articles, review articles, case reports, case series, clinical images and short communications, as well as short technical reports.

The journal is peer reviewed and all manuscripts undergo five level thorough reviews processing of content such as plagiarism, copyediting, in-house review, independent review assignments, proofreading and typesetting to ensure scientific content quality meets the international standards.
