JSM Atherosclerosis is a peer reviewed, open access journal that widely publishes the functions and the role of the arteries in the human body on varied aspects, including: arterial and vascular biology and disease, thrombosis, inflammation, disorders of lipid transport, diabetes and hypertension as related to atherosclerosis, and cardiovascular risk factors in the form of research articles, review articles, case studies, the letters to the editor, short communication, commentaries, editorials, proceedings, and perspectives.
